V8 SuperCar Adventure

The V8 SuperCar Adventure

There was a v8 supercar event on the 6th of November to the 8th. The learning coaches decided that they could only take 60 people. 25 from LH1 25 from LH2 and 10 from LH 4. You had to bring 10 dollars to the office and also this permission slip with your parents signature. My sister and I got to go. It took about 1 hour to get to the supercar event but I guess it was worth it so I wont complain about it. When we got there it was already kinda full of people. As we entered sadly I already heard that someone had already left his hat on the bus :(. When we got in we sat under a giant tree to have a morning tea. While we all were eating I was hearing all the go past having this giant boom sound or a giant bang sound. When I just about finished my morning tea I heard a learning coach telling another child from a different group saying why the v8 cars go boom or bang. This is what I think they said, "The reason why the v8 cars go bang is because ahead on the track there is a bit of a sharp turn do they have to stop and when they stop there is still gas or fuel in the exhaust so when they accelerate again the gas comes out and it makes a boom sound." I also heard a speaker say that the cars where going at the speed at approximately 250 kph (which means klometers per hour). There was this kind of bridge going to the other side of the track. When my group got to the other side of the bridge, we saw some posters that we can take with us home. Unfortunately I only got one poster. There were some people getting autograph by drivers but I didn't get a autograph because I thought we didn't have time. We got back under the tree on the other side of the track and we had our lunch. Some of us finish early like me and my friend Ved. It was nice of him to give me a poster but he still had 2 more poster. We just sat there for a while but some people just played around. I got a bit bored of sitting do I went to my friend and we started talking. But I went back to sitting down and waiting. Before I died of boredom Mr. Hattie said it's about time to leave. But before we went back on the bus we checked if anyone needed the bathroom. As we entered Ved and I decided to sit on the same seat area. While we were going back to Ormiston Primary School we were playing truth or dare, I spy and just normally talking about things. After that we reached Ormiston and that's about it.
