The Speech Final
Who won the speech finals? Hi, Today I will be telling you about the speech finals in the multi space at ormiston. So after habitat hui on Monday, LH1, LH2 and went to the Multi Space for the speech finals. Some of the finalists were Kevin, Mohamed, Seth, Aleena and Jahnavi. Kevin's speech was about cooking and my favourite parts were when he used humour. Mohamed's speech was about the haka and what I liked was that he was signing and a learning coach was saying what he was signing. Seth was about skate boarding I think. Aleena's was about why she should be the principle of ormiston primary. It was interesting how she described what she would do if she was principle. Jahnavi was about why we should have school uniform. LH2 had to go early so they didn't get to hear all of them. While LH1 had to wait for the judges to decide the winner we were answering question. One of them were "What would you do if you were princible?" I was going to say "No School!" But they didn't pick me. Now the judges were ready. In third place came Mohamed, in second place came Aleena and finally in first place came... Drum roll please. Jahnavi!

Hi Justin,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your post about the speech finals. You are an engaging writer. I loved everyone's speech- Aleena the dreamer, Kevin the comedian and Jahnavi the winner! I think my most favourite speech was Mohammed's, he was so passionate and prepared. After watching them did you reflect on your own speech and what you could have done to make it better? Check what the difference is in 'principle' and 'principal' - are you using the right one? I hope you are remembering to write blog buddy comments. Who is your blog buddy? Let's remind them of their job ok?
